Acciona and Fletcher Construction joint venture: Puhoi to Warkworth PPP
Greenwood Roche advised the Acciona and Fletcher Construction joint venture Northern Express Group (NX2) consortium, on project delivery and downstream disputes on the Pūhoi to Warkworth motorway under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contract with NZTA.
The motorway extends the Northern Motorway (SH1) by 18.5 km, it is the second motorway in New Zealand to be constructed on behalf of the New Zealand Government under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract.
The Greenwood Roche construction team acted for NX2 during the project delivery phase, including downstream adjudications under the Construction Contracts Act 2002 and expert determinations.
